Diatonic Scales With Major Root Notes

Here are the 5 fret versions of the scales. They are a pain to learn but it is doable. Once you learn them you will realise that they blend together to become the 4 fret versions anyway. Also you realise that they are so closely layered across the fretboard together that you can skip a few of them and just play for example Major, Phrygian, Mixolydian, Locrian and youve covered all the notes It’s important to come up with a system and stick to it because you will go round in circles forever and get really confused. Personally my favorite one to start out with is the locrian one which in my mind starts one note before the E shape barre chord of the 1 chord of the key you are in.
